Getting my on-line on.

Well, here we are, braving a new world of unknowns. But there is a silver lining in having to close my doors, It’s given me the time and motivation to get our on-line shop up and running. I’ll call it my on-line life line!

I really miss hanging out with my community and talking to browsers and buyers alike, so if you happen to walk by, peek in the window and wave. I’ll be manning my photo shoot stations to bring the store to you so you can shop from the comfort and safety of your own home.

We have been and will continue to add more items to the shop daily, so come back often and see what’s new. And if you have a request for an item you’d like to see in the on-line store, let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate.

Alrighty, that’s all for now. Peace

Encaustic workshop with Mimi Muhlenberg

The first of many workshops to be offered at Gallery on Park went off without a hitch. Taking place in our beautiful side garden it was a lovely day, with lovely people making lovely art. What could be better! Keep an eye on our Events link for upcoming workshops and events.

Opening Reception

What a wonderful opening reception night for our first featured artist, Mimi Muhlenberg. This town is so full of love and support for local artists it makes my heart proud.

2 Weeks to Go

Ticking away items from my list of things to do until opening day. Just 2 weeks to go!

Week #3 and #4.

The last few weeks progress summed up with photos.       xo martha

Week #2

For the first part of the week I installed a shiny new floor which I totally love!

For the second part of the week, I installed a new work sink that will be perfect for cleaning brushes and paired it with what I like to call my wine cooler.

Week #1

On July 1st, I received my key to Gallery on Park. Welcome to The Renovating.

I am excited as I visualize and dream of what is to come, but also trying to figure out how I didn't notice the drop ceiling that needs some serious TLC. :0

With a little help from my friends, old signage came down, paint was stripped and my front door got a face lift!

While cleaning out old filing cabinets, I found a few remnants from long ago businesses that used to inhabit this space.  Victorian Design Studio was here when we would physically cut, paste and copy to make signage.

Today was demo day and I cleared out the back hallway which will serve as my storage area.

I am not a slap on a coat of paint and call it a day kind of girl because if I did that I wouldn't get to use my power tools. Whee.....demo is fun!

This coming week, I plan to prep, prime and paint and install the floor in the hallway and bathroom. Usually it takes me 3X longer to renovate than I expect. Fingers crossed and wish me luck! xo
